Hi. We have been on FAB a while now and are finding it's gone very stale tbh. Are there many couples or males who have actually managed to have genuine safe and fun meets in and around Inverness recently??? No need for single males to bombard us with messages btw. |

I have had a good level of success over the years.. but I found travelling to central belt opens the opportunities.. not all singl males are of a kind btw..  |

I agree. For me Fab tends to work in cycles, slow for months on end then boom a lot of interest in a short space of time. I have found it to be increasingly difficult to meet of late, very few folk tend to be after just a single male |

There’s not much going on in the highlands unfortunately but it’s understandable I suppose given the population, small nosy communities and more conservative attitudes.
Our location is pretty much always set as Glasgow as we visit on a fairly regular basis and just through sheer difference in numbers there’s obviously a much healthier swinging scene there.
That’s not to say we discount anyone just for being up here. If we were to stumble across people we liked who were close by we would still be interested.  .

I have a decent amount of meets with regular friends, the problem seems to lie with people joining and leaving constantly (i have been guilty of this in the past)
However I manage in and around Elgin. |

I'm new on and finding it hard. Have chatted with a few really nice ladies, but as I'm married meeting hasn't happened. Which is fine, I understand that.
I do travel about so will see how I get on meeting people round and about.
Is the club in edinburgh worth a go, I will be in edinburgh a wednesday night in november? |

Over my different periods on and off fab i weirdly find that further north of Inverness is better. Places like Tain, Thurso, western Isles or Orkney are better. Now maybe because when I'm there I'm not a local it makes it easier to meet? |

Cant say I have ever had a problem since we joined over 10 years ago. Family life makes things difficult for us these days compared to when we first joined but thats been it. |

Never really had a problem and live in nairn ,but perhaps that's because I only actively try to meet every few months ,And if I message anyone and no reply I leave it at that ,Fab is an enhancement of my social life but isn't my social life so I find that helps ,I usually just come on fab a few photos send odd message and leave my opinion in forum on subjects that pique my intrest |

There’s plenty going on if you look on the right places. It’s the same as everywhere though - there are some lovely genuine people, then there are lovely genuine people who are actually billy bullshitting arseholes, then there are total arseholes! |

We have struggled, had messages with some but still only manage one meet in the highlands, so have headed to the central belt like others... would be nice to be able to play closer to home and more regularly for sure |

I found Inverness really died out in the last couple of years.. had a few really good meets in 2016 and 17 but found people cancelling a lot after that so I deleted my account till I moved! |

Think anywhere that has sparse population is going to suffer/ struggle a bit more. Maybe organise a social up there, arrange a party, book an air bnb (plenty of them to be had up there - but politically that’s another story!).
I think too, a lot of people in the remote areas are a bit more hesitant in the meet perspective. Maybe it’s because everyone knows everyone?
It’s a shame though. In my mind, these kind of places should be where it’s at. |

I can't say that I can agree about North of Inverness, it's fairly quiet up here. |
