Me and the better half where having an arguement. It's there a difference between an imperial thia fighter and Darth Vaders fighter. I said there is the thia fighter which is your big standard fighter and the imperial which is Vaders |

If I remember from canon Vaders TIE Fighter was an experimental modified TIE Fighter named the "TIE Advanced x1" powered by a Solar ionization reactor It was a one of kind |

So theres a difference between a tie fighter the imperial fighter and vaders ship |

yeah the most notable is the bent wing solar arrays like the TIE Bombers have. The stanadard Imperial Fighters had straight solar arrays. |
