If by time wasters you mean folks that will flake when it comes to actually meeting once arrangements have been made, then I think there are usually some pretty clear signs beforehand |

Sometimes “ real life” does get in the way but when it’s the same excuse, more than once or you’ve driven from Falkirk to Ayr only for a telephone number to dissapear then that does get a bit grating! I did however have to leave a very pleasant meet because my phone started ringing, often ! My son had crashed his car ! No injuries but it does sometimes happen !
Anyway , I am off to build a boat an imminent tsunami means I can’t play today . |

The joy of being a parent often means having to change plans last minute, yesterday my daughter took really unwell and I had to rush out to pick her up and take her to hospital, usually always happens when I’m doing something, and my own health sometimes I have to cancel plans very last minute |

Of course things can change. Kids or family trouble is a perfectly good reason and not time wasting. The time wasters are the ones that disappear when they say they will meet. Or the ones that put statuses up that are all talk.
I’ve had people steal my photos before and make fake profiles. I say to people I will send a live pic but I expect one back. The amount of people that disappear at that stage is incredible. |

Made arrangements with what I thought was an attractive couple last week for daytime fun.. Swapped numbers and spoke with the hubby on the phone and arranged to make my way to their place at lunch time.. When I arrived I was greeted at the door by a dodgy looking guy who looked nothing like the pics and was clearly out of his face on cocaine with a bloody snot trail dripping down his face.. I’m the same Jane never experienced it, the worst I’ve had is cancelling a couple of hours beforehand but at least I never left the house. Thankfully if they decide they don’t want to meet me they usually just stop chatting which is fair enough. |

It's more that unless you've actually spoken to the lady, and they have veris to back up the fact she exists, probably best to be very wary.
Which is unfortunate, as one of the things G would like to do is have a profile where he can select guys for me and when they meet me I'm blindfolded. But how many people would believe its genuine? Very few. |

Was stood up last night, been chatting on & off for months & arranged a last minute social in a pub, luckily across the road from me but he didn’t know that. He messaged saying he was there so I headed over then he messaged saying just nipping out for cash. I waited outside for 15 min but never heard from him again. What a dick! |

I've had my fair share:
Chatting away on fab with one person, seemed to get on well, arranged to meet and set a day and time. On the day of the meet I messaged where to meet up and then I immediately got blocked.
Another person told me location and time to meet up and she gave her phone number too. Half an hour drive, reached the place, knocked on door and I got no answer. Sat in the car waiting for a bit and messaged and called but no response so I drove away. About an hour after, I receive a text asking where I am and then I was branded as a timewaster on their fab status later.
One more for you, chatting to a "couple", talked about a mmf, I notice on their profile the male is bi whereas I am not (and it says on my profile) so I made sure in mentioning it'd be a straight mmf. "They" were keen on asking for pics of me even though I sent some, I asked for some of them specifically the female and they had some excuse for not having more than one pic - a red flag there. Then I get asked if I was interested in a bi 3sum  , I reiterated the conversation earlier and then they say "probably not for us then". |
