East Ayrshire

I had a pair of cut off shorts, which looking back at an old photo were more like 80's football shorts - way too short to be cool.

Anyone else have any ill advised items of clothing?

Don't recall any particularly horrendous outfits but did also sport the curly perm.

I looked like the cartoon character Crystal Tips....napper like a triangle.

"Bootcut jeans. I look bloody awful in them."

Tbh I think they're more flattering on most women rather than the skinny jeans look. But then you are very slim so can probably get away with the skinny jeans.

I always wear skinny jeans. Bootcut jeans make my legs look like tree trunks

I'm a child dressed by parents in the 70s. The list us endless but here is a few

High waisted

Flares

Cheese cloth shirts

Wedges

Suede dress dinner jackets

Kipper ties

Collars that could take your eye out

Nylon school trousers without pockets cord effect

Mouve as an acceptable colour

Purple as an acceptable colour on a man/boy

Flares with turn ups

I could be here all day.

An ill advised fitted dress that was way too short, and with my crew cut hair.

Shocking.

As I'm a big mark for them, I've had plenty of jumpsuits over the years, I REALLY should have sent back.

Instead they've just been put in a charity bag or such when I've done a wardrobe review.

Scotland

Back in the early 90's I bought a silver with salmon pinstripe suit from Armani Glasgow. It was in the sale and in my mind at the time was an absolute bargain . I tried it on several time in private but never wore it in public . A few years later I while working in St Andrews I handed it into Oxfam still in the suit back with price tags still on. I'm sure it will still be there if anyone fancies a bargain
