^Tenchy you are not a Rangers fan,think about all the honest supporters out there who had no idea of what was happening at Rangers,the money that we have all poured into the club over the years etc.Even when Celtic were on there knees in 1994 i never gloated and did not want to see them cease to exist.

Also think if the fans season book money which was paid to repay the bank then the fans should own the club,maybe get walter smith as chairman it mite take a cpl yrs for rangers to get back on their feet but I hope yous get there as scottish football needs both the old firm.

Its bloody terrible for football in general whether you support celtic or rangers, nobody wants to see players, and back room staff loose their jobs, when all is said and done, i hope rangers fc, survive this crisis, and bounce back from it, despite the mis-management of the club

How will the players manage without their £10,000 plus per week?

Find it hard to feel sorry for anyone who gets that sort of money for kicking a ball about badly.

Backroom staff etc. are a different matter.

Well as a long life wife of a celtic fan i think its a dam shame... they didnt know what was happening and now they losing jobs.. its sickening that in this day and age this could be happening to 1 of the 2 top clubs in Scotland...i hope the people responsible are pleased with themselves... that is hard working peoples money they have tricked them out... money that folks work hard for!!! makes ye angry.. and i hope all the fans back their team all the way... no matter where they end up!!

Now im running away incase Mr H reads this and thinks im a Gers fan in disguise hehe

As a celtic fan, i share the pain. As with many corporate collapses, the customers and employees pay the price when management or the fat cats screw up. Whatever the final outcome, this cannot - it must not - be allowed to occur again for the sake of the game.

im with knotty. U think the players who get thousands of pounds tax free i may add feel sorry for the nurses or students that are out of jobs every week?these guys will get new clubs no doubt and still live ok. Yes its the poor office workers and groundstaff that i feel it for. Auds.x

Celtic and Rangers are the top 2 clubs in Scotland and between them bring a lot of money to Scotland. If Rangers go then all the clubs could ultimatly suffer.

totally agree Auds. Its the wee people that make a business what it is and if rangers go, the wee people should get first dibs on any funds leftover. As for vice playboy player salaries, they are obscene. How can anyone say a footballer is worth more than a medic, soldier, social worker, cleaner. etc.

yeah and with some players on between 24k -26k a week, thats more than the average persons wage for a year, no wonder footballs in the way it is

I can watch any game of football, not got any favourite of either, but i know where false economy leads.

Its all relative, sign o the times etc, folk aint got the money to even consistantly go see their fav teams, yet on n on it goes paying out daft amounts of money to players etc.

Nobody had any idea? If you can add and subtract you'd have an idea.

Sounds a typical comment from a blinkered celtic fan. Have celtic no sectarian issues with uefa and did the "families" not rob them for decades before the wee man in the bonnet baled them out of their poverty ?

Just on the news.... Rangers are highly unlikely to participate in any more league fixtures this season. European football next season has been ruled out today too....Effectivly, the football side of the club no longer operates!

Partick Thistle better order more pies and bovril for the rest of the season ...pmsl
