I am not a biker and so have not followed the threads for bike runs but how about starting at Biggar...then down to Moffat (the A701, very scenic road, past the Devils beef tub) then moffat to selkirk, (the A708) stopping off at St Marys loch for a snack/lunch then over to peeples and maybe galashields?

I did a lot of work in that area (particularily the A708) for a few weeks last year and think its a nice driving area.

dunblane, stirling

that was basically the route we took yesterday Steve.

Was lovely and scenic, twisty and turny.

Any route suggestions welcomed from bikers and non bikers alike.

(unless of course you are a bike hater and your route suggestion is "why dont you all go to............f#ck!")

lol

I never followed the threads before so didnt know.

We did a run in the car a few weeks back, again worked up that way a few times...

A9 up to Dalwhinnie...across to Spean Bridge, down to Fort William then left onto the A82 to Glencoe.... then Tyndrum etc then have a choice of dropping down to Glasgow or towards Creif etc.

Not so sure if its a good biking route mind.

steve due to the nature of the site the route can't be posted before hand but

the 1st run was up to oban then back via callander

the second was around fife - don't know where as i was lost most of the time , we did get to anstruther for lunch. The 3rd run was moffat to selkirk A708 then around galashiels a few times due to road works then on to edinburgh.

hopefully we will get time and the weather before some of the bikes have to hibernate but as said above any route ideas will be considered
