Hi everyone after a very long year I’ve secured a private piece of land where I’ll be putting four Shepard’s huts
Is there any fabber that think it could be a good idea

These things are all dependent on location, I you’re in a tourist area where occupancy is already high you will probably do well. Otherwise buying 4 in one go could be risky.
If you’re planning on buying them just to rent out to fab folk then you’re definitely onto a loser. Organising meets is up and down as it is without expecting people to book and pay for swinging specific accommodation.

I rented a shepherds hut for 3 nights when I was doing some work down South last summer. Romantic as fk but I didn't sleep too well as neither single bed was very wide. Now I'm a bit of a unit and I now know that a shepherds hut just ain't for me. However, apart from the sleeping arrangements, the rest of the experience was so much better than the usual business hotels. So, assuming you're not too generously proportioned, a hut is a must try at least once! |

I love the clamping pods and the like but the reason lots of them don’t succeed is the ridiculously high prices they charge for them ! My pals built five out his back garden on a well known tourist route and he’s busy all year round because he’s budget hotel prices rather than five star, they did used to rent the cottage out but then decided to move out there permenantly beautiful location  |
