Have a hotel meet tomorrow in centre of Glasgow but wondering where I could leave my car without extortionate parking charges. Are there any park and ride facilities (pardon the pun) where I can leave my car?

Edington Street. Wardens rarely go up there.

Doesn't the hotel offer free parking to guests?

Glasgow

Best to park at a subway station park and ride or just use one of the many multistorey carparks in town, they are cheaper and more convenient than street parking

Vermont street is popular for kinning park subway….only danger is the big yorkie truckers clipping your wing mirrors….

its a free street so no pay n display

Same for shields rd subway folk park on watt or houston st then walk round. Less chance of big yorkie munchers whacking your car though

Glasgow

The on-street meter spots are free from 6pm to 8am. If you get a ticket after 6pm it will give you the 2 hours from 8am onwards, i.e. 10am.
