Either a charity shop or only bags that go direct to a charity not the ones that receive a donation from the collectors.

I also sell on eBay to fund holidays so I sell a lot too.

Always hand it in to the Accord, at Vincent's or cancer research...wouldn't trust those charity bags.

Glasgow ish

Money to Multiple Sclerosis and homeless charity - someone I work with does homeless outreach so we go shopping for basics for the homeless.

Clothes direct to shop or appropriate branded charity skip.

Nothing to folk on the street, those begging or the corporate beggars.

Old clothes that are on good condition got to Charity shops. Also give regular to Maggies Cancer care and Strathcarron Hospice and any other charity that people from work want sponsorship for.

I never put anything out for vans to collect bags as some vans or people come round and take the bags for themselves to sell, I take mine to charity shop that I worked in and most charity shops recycle clothing, handbags, shoes, belts and bed linen so always ask what they recycle as that gets them money too xx

Check bags carefully; some are companies, not charities. Should have a registered charity number.

I worked for an Autism charity and I'm still very much flying the flag for them. It's not always about giving money or donating goods.

I never fill the bags that come through the door. If you read the small print it usually says that they sell the donated items to the very people who need it most but can't afford to buy. I hand it to my local charity shop or give away for free via online local freebie pages. There's always someone who would appreciate it.

I donated to Cancer Research last year and now I donate to Erskine. I have filled a bag or two in the past, which have come through the door. I always buy children's toys every Xmas for the children's ward in my local hospital too which is more of a good deed than anything else x

Too many to mention I donate to lots of different charities, each year I choose a different charity to make a large donation to, I always fill bags to drop off at the local charity shops and often buy a few essentials and give them to the homeless and do lots of volunteer work when I can
