So going to st Andrew's for a weekend with the wife in August and thinking about doing the eden gin tour. Has anyone done it and if so is it worth it ?

It’s the next tour on my list. Not been to St. Andrews yet

Highly recommend the Edinburgh gin tour at their premises at the bottom of the royal mile

Yeah it's really good, plus they have launched a new whisky as well in glass bottles that look like hip flasks which is going down a storm.
