A couple of times we have put a advert in the meets and events section and got no replies.
It may be because we look like a bag of Theresa May's promises.
Just wondered what response others have got? |

I think if it was single males you were looking for then your inbox would fill up pretty quickly, couples and single females maybe more difficult, look pretty damn good to me  |

Back in the day, Meet Today had it's uses. Particularly on a Saturday night when it made looking to see who was online seeking a meet as opposed to just perving much easier.
However, seems less so nowadays particulary as some people seem to display it 24hrs a day. Lol |

answering ads has worked out for us a few times.
You have a lovely profile... maybe people think they have no chance with you two.
Have you tried saying 'looks and hygiene not important'?  |

We have done the same in the past and had the same responses just keep trying. |

Thank you for all the replies and advice.
I know weekends would be better but we cannot meet then and have to do midweek.
Our view so far is that they are pretty pointless and you are unlikely to get a reply |

Well you sound and look like a great couple but I suspect the type of meet you are suggesting that cuts out a social meet first might put off genuine parties.
I’d have considered a social but being an M at the moment rules me out anyhows. Maybe another occasion or and organised social. Good luck. |

I’ve done it a few times for planned events like socials if I’m going somewhere and know I’m going to have free time, I’ve only did it looking for a last minute meet once, it was years ago and I’d booked a hotel in Glasgow for a meet with a guy I’d seen several times and this night he totally ghosted me, I’d had a shit week at work and was already a bottle of Prosecco down and thought fuxk it, got a reply from a gorgeous young guy, profile was amazing and tbh I didn’t think he would actually turn up, the body pics looked like something out a photo shoot and he sounded far too good to be true, sent him my hotel details and then carried on chatting in the chat rooms. Was about to just call it a night and have an early one when the room door went and OMFG the cat that got the cream that night he was even better looking in the flesh had an amazing night and morning lol became pals on fb as well ! still friends now and he’s still on fab lol I often get messages from women who’ve seen my veri for him asking is he’s genuine ! Eh yeah I don’t just leave veris for the sake of it  |

There’s certainly not anything wrong with your profile.
We’ve tried advertising meets to meet couples but it hasn’t ever worked for us either.
