Hahaha are you kidding the place has nothing in the way of decent pubs .
Well okay, maybe Pinkertons, it's clean ,has a nice outside smoking area and a pool table.It's a bit secluded and quiet ,unless theres a band on and off the beaten track or The Woodside Inn has bands on Saturday nights ,it's bearable but no smoking area ,you have to stand out the front .
The acorn stinks and I mean literally ,the smell when you walk in the door is vile the smoking area is crap,the heaters don't work and it's not covered plus it faces onto the main road ,full of alchys n junkies .
Maybe you should try Leslie just along the road abit, a few nice wee pubs there and the Greenside hotel has bands and karaoke on at the weekends in the 2 different parts of it.

Hey we live near by. Glenrothes doesnt have much, the Acorn is total shit. Leslie has some nice places, Fettykill fox good pub and drinks, the burgh in Leslie high street great food and drinks. The Reya ... very good indian food and very friendly ... we drink in the burns .. not for everyone tho lol Greig xx |

I'm doing everyone a favour, honestly -Glenrothes is best avoided if you want somewhere to go for drinks . There's a road runs right through it for a fast escape hhaahha
Leslie is close enough and far better.
I think I may just have lost my job with the tourist information dept in Glenrothes now LOL

thanks for your help guys,we had a great night.
we ended up in the hotel with the karaoke.it wasnt the most modern place we have ever been,but it was definitely one of the friendliest.
also thanks for the meet invites,but meeting would maybe have aroused
the suspicion,of the non swinging couple we were with lol.
