More likely someone is winding you up, probably someone you've knocked back.
Starting a thread is just drawing attention to yourself and including references in your profile and status you are showing whoever is telling you this that its annoying you. Call them sad fukwits then block them then carry on using Fab however you please. If and its a huge if your fathers friend does know deal with that situation if it ever arises. Im pretty sure it wont. Enjoy Fab and dont feed the trolls with any of your thoughts or outrage.  |

Oh my dads pal does know...its not a case of blocking the profile and reporting cos have no idea who these trolls are that allegedly told my dads pal...

The best thing you can do is to not react to it. Especially don't let it upset you.
I was "outed" nearly 20 years ago, and got a bit of stick about it (The joys on living in a small place) and spent 2 days in a daze over it all. Then suddenly I thought "F*ck it! If someone has a problem with it, then it's their problem not mine!"
Nobody will confront you about it, it'll just be whispers and such. If anyone does ask though, it's up to you how you react, by either laughing it off, or admitting it. I judge it based on how well I know the person.
