"Shocking that love island has 2 contestants commit suicide and yet people are excited for the new season
Some people have priorities in the wrong place
John "
You're not wrong their John.. I guess love island is more of a money maker than auld Jezza... Or maybe I'm a bit too cynical. |

I'm a Jeremy and Storm gal anyway... maybe we could get them on blind date/Fab
Wouldn't be surprised if it's Jeremy "Vyle" that has prompted the suicide (has that been confirmed yet?)... he's awful |

The man had a warrant for failing to attend court, up to his eyes in debt lost his job living in a bedsit I’d say it was a culmination of things tbh but ultimately as many folk were ridiculed as many if not more received a great amount of support from the shows team of professionals, just unfortunate the nhs is stretched to a point that many folk resort to these shows for support and private agencies cost so much money again people need somewhere to go for help and support with many issues and the show is a quick fix that doesn’t leave anyone out of pocket and everyone is of the belief that they won’t be made to look a fool people have a false sense of self more often when they are in these situations, as much as many of the shows I’ve seen over the years made me cringe far more made me cry and actually made a positive impact on folk |

The whole premise of the Jeremy Kyle Show was crass. The entire selection process of participants was based on mocking the lower social classes for the most vulgar and personal of issues all in the name of cheap public entertainment, like a shameful modern day version of Bedlam.
It was well beyond it's sell by date. |

my own world |
In my Job I see people such as the likes of those guests.
Exploiting them even more than the damaged lives they already exsist in...
But if it makes good entertainment for some folk, make sure you are waving the i support mental health banner.. |

"Enjoying reading all the response on this sardonic thread... "
I was going to say I’m sure I’ve seen you in the audience but then realised that would mean I actually watched it so I’m retracting my ‘almost’ statement!! |

Yes agreed but Jeremy Kyle has a format of agreeing/empathising with one party then shouting and tearing them to shreds. No matter what someone’s done (and I’m not condoning anyone’s behaviour) very often the people on it have major psychological problems. Him bawling at them to get viewing figures was always an accident waiting on a place to happen. As you say though it’s a pity society lets down our overstretched NHS etc |
