"There was a pod weekend not that long ago that apparently went well.
What's a pod sorry if it's a daft question "
Theres never a daft question on Fab you ask away.
Its basically like camping but in a pod, a domed structure instead of a tent. No even sure exactly myself as we never went. |

"Prefer glamping to camping.
R
Definitely not for you then unless we find someone with a campervan
Googled camper and for sale "
I have quite a lot of camping equipment actually! Lol. I just like to make sure I have a comfy bed (blow up mattress) & it's not cold ..... I hate the cold!

Used to go camping in Royal Deeside every year. Midgies aside, it was brilliant.
Crates of beer were kept chilled in the river.
You always had to look up river when cleaning your teeth or washing though in case there was someone peeing in it further up! |

I was just talking tonight about my one and only camping trip where I got hundreds of midgie bites and couldn’t sleep so it’s glamping for me from now on!! |

Really like the idea of wild camping but no idea of where there are suitable places to camp. The simplicity is really appealing but the I start to work out all the kit and realise I'd need an estate car and trailer! |

Yeah, I would be interested in this - just got all my camping gear updated ahead of Download this year, quick test at Blair Atholl a couple of weekends ago was great fun, so keen to get out a few times more over the summer. |
