"Does anyone actually meet on sites like that? I’ve been in a few and never got past messaging someone Is it really that hard to get a date nowadays?"
It’s all the bots and fake profiles I’ve had ones that have mysteriously went from being 20 miles away to 5 minutes down the road in the space of a message |

that sites utter pish ?? I just look at it no wonder no one would still on it |

We were on there about 10 years ago - decent site but very expensive, had a few good meets but most members were abroad ! Cam facility was also much better from memory  |

Thought that was long gone!!
Must admit when I lived in Newcastle many years ago I had a random message from a lady on there and we ended up meeting. It was in my early days of playing and I was sure she was so excited fake but no she showed up, hubby watched from afar on the pub and was a fun evening.
Astonished it's still alive right enough!! X |

I used to be and blogged often. Not looked at it in a while. Years ago the forums there were quite lively and I met some great people.
I think a lot of people migrated over to Fab. |

being a single guy who rejoined after a couple year it is seemingly a bit harder than it was(no pun intented ) years ago

it still like that foregniers saying they stay near you but in reality nowhwre near you

Was on that years ago, really enjoyed the social side (ScotsCorner) but it fell away. Mostly American but the Glasgow scene was good. Really liked the cam stuff, very user friendly. I lost trust in the site though after a few major data hacking incidents...and felt it was becoming full of fake profiles. |

As others have said, had a decent local presence a while ago but in recent years it's basically become a scam site. I had a nosey a couple of years ago and it was just all bots and fake profiles from the "US" looking to message/scam you.
Was never the easiest to navigate and wasn't cheap either.
For all its faults, Fab have hit upon the magic formula of ease of use, traffic and making premium pay option pretty painless. |

That's the site I was briefly on for a few months before finding out about this place.
As many have mentioned, it was pretty dead for anyone around Dundee/Perth and when you did find someone "local" you got a strong vibe they were fakes - frequently, you'd get chatting and then you'd be asked to join another site so "it was easier to talk", even though AFF had an excellent instant messaging integration.
Also, pretty expensive - especially compared to here  |

Totally agree only bad thing about here is after deleting profile on here and rejoining as single guy is someone giving you time of day and people who had previously verified you are no longer on the site  |
