I send a nice humorous non pushy, friendly message to a lady, she replies to me with a nice humorous banter-like reply...then goes and blocks me ??? Wtf?
Am I missing something? Any help/ideas gratefully received... |

Yes, I do move on, thanks, not a lot else you can do, my point being , am I doing/saying something out of place that jars with the 'culture' on this site, as I'm not familiar with it, and had very little success so far; Is gentle humour out of place here? |

success can be hard work on here as you probably have guessed hundreds on males all wanting the same thing....the good ones stand out....
advice.... humour, respect and patience and you wont go wrong....theres also a few social events lunches/nights out etc best way to meet people...have a laugh with no pressure.....
as for have you done anything wrong nop u aint....just some people are fickle...read profiles and make sure you match before mailing and you wont go far wrong

Humour is fine but not everyone gets the same stuff. Some people think I'm funny some think I'm just an escaped looney. Just be yourself and some will like it some won't, same as with anything else in life. |

Very few of us ever know why someone blocks us but most of the time its not anything u have done , ur either not their type or have something they dont want.
Polite humourous messages are always good and trying the socials and drinks nights or lunches are always a step in the right direction.
Getting urself into the chatrooms is a good way to get urself known also but it can be hard to get in on the conversations there as well as times , again be yourself and i am sure what ur looking for will happen with time and patiences |

yep they all sum it up. dont give it a second thought. Im not going to want to meet every person i speak to, likewise not everyone will want to meet me.

hav to agree she just didnt fancy you, basically there has to be an attraction, and probs because of ur message being funny she thought she cd reply, then hit block (basically it helps when people are messaging, we block if no attraction and means u not wasting time)
then continue on to find wat we want |
