"Love the idea. YouTube is where I go for make up tips. Just wish I could do the same as on the video lol.
What's the best concealer you lot like?
Dermacol "
Do you use that around your eyes too?
Used to use a Bobbi Brown colour corrector but my budget won't stretch that far now. Currently using Rimmel Radiance concealer. |

Only very lightly with a sponge round eyes as it goes on really thick... its too easy to use too much in general. You only need half a dozen wee spots to cover your whole face... this stuff will cover up tattoos |

1, dermacol on whole face.
2, wee bit of kryolan along jaw, chin, top lip etc
3, light coating of generic concealer/foundation to colour blend it all in
4, on with the powder.
5, bronzer
6, blusher
7, eye make up
8, lippy
9, hair
Thats my procedure anyway |

Moisturiser then I do the lashes and eye liner before going any further. That way when I muck it up or smudge it over my face I can sort it without having to redo any other makeup. |

Im not that hairy actually, except my armpits if i dont do them then i look like i have tina turner in a headlock
I use a combo of wax, veet/nair and shaving.... I'll do top half when i have a bath, bottom half next bath so stay pretty much on top of it, tben if im meeting, going out etc.. I do the lot and it oesnt take too long because im on top of it
I tend to shave arms and legs and use wax/veet on upper thighs/bum and tummy/chest... Nethers get shaved, veet doesnt seem to shift that and fuck waxing that! |

I find spots are not too bad if you have a good soak in a hot bath then shave in the bath, get out and towel down and use moisturiser... but yeah exfoliating cream would do same thing
Gotta use a good razor like a mach3 though... shitey disposable ones will cut and make spotty. |

Long soak in a hot bath and shaving with a good shaving gel or hair conditioner with a good razor.
Cleaning after every stroke.
You want the razor not to pull hairs but cut them. Less spots.
Pat dry, dont rub and moisturiser.
I also you veet from time to time.
Heard magic powder is really good also. Especially for not bringing up spots, but never tried it as yet. |

Defo the longer you soak in the bath the more your pores open up so the closer the shave,
i always backstroke the razor against the skin to help clean it as rinsing doesn’t always work and hair conditioner(thick conditioners like Pantene or treseme not watery ones) is the best thing to use on the legs not foam or soap of any kind and even on the private areas makes for a good shaving lube as it were
Absolutely no way in hells earth and I ever waxing or epilating and no ones putting any chemicals like veet anywhere near me !! I don’t even wax my eyebrows I’ve lost skin !!! |

On the subject of Veet - I use the sensitive stuff. Leave it on for about 7 minutes.
I've only ever had a burn a couple of times, when I've Veet'ed twice in the same week and on already sensitive areas.
Now Nair - That is a totally different kettle of fish. Burns me ALL THE TIME, even when on less than the recommended time.

I'm waxed every 6 weeks or so.
Ibuprofen and paracetamol an hour before the ouchie bit helps a lot. I then use a tea tree/aloe vera shower gel later that day.
Keep the skin moisturised over the next few days.
For the non waxed "bits" a good razor and King of Shaves Tea tree and Aloe Vera shave gel works well for me.
Using a tea tree moisturiser post shave helps keep spotting down too. |

As a crossdresser I look towards the drag community for inspiration regarding shape and makeup tips.
I go two ways.. girl with a boy frame. Pretty straight up and down with a/b cup push up bra or a more shapely hour glass. Padding out a thigh/butt and bringing in the waist with a fuller breast form bust to get a nice femine curve.
It all depends on what I might be wearing.
Instagram and you tube are a god send for make up tips and practice practice practice.
I have still yet to master eyeliner flicks. Drives me nuts...

Wishful thinking im afraid M ...
Ive been on fab 5 years and despite the whole 5 years here seeing many requests for them to seperate the categories up a bit from TV/TS which are two totally different things as are CD and TG its still never happened. Many requests also for a "TV/TS" chatroom also ignored. So i doubt they'd do a trans forum section x
Half the posts would probably be from pished up phobic shitebag keyboard warriors popping in trying to be funny/get a rise and admin doing nothing about it |

It works but is terrible for your skin I think.
Do you use a primer? I apply some loose powder (Coty Airspun from Amazon) after primer but before foundation then set the foundation with it too. Kinda sandwiches the foundation in between and stays put for me |

Hiya
What I have:
Liquid foundation
eyeshadow
eyeline pencil
blusher
eyebrow pencil/pen
lipstick matt/gloss
orange lipstick
concealer stick
Mascara
Application:
apply a lil orange lipstick on top lip in dabs and spread with finger (clean finger after)
apply concealer between eyes, down nose and top lip..blend in with finger (clean finger sfter)
2 drops of liquid foundation onto pointer and index finger tip..dab other hands same finger tips. dab forehead middle and either side, down nose, top lip, chin and cheeks...blend in the fingers..use excess left to do around eyes.
Draw in eyebrows (take your time and be subtle. blend with other end of eyebrow pencil/pen brush.
Eyes:
Dry brush. Medium to dark brown..under eyes..on eyelid..the hald moon shape on eyebrow. blend with a brush almost to eyebrow.
Black..in lower corner under eye..1/3 of the way from outer edge. Black in corner on upper eye with a lil at edge. Blend into the brown about halfway to eyebrow.
Eyeline pencil black: lower eye along edge almost to inner eye..be subtle. add flick to eye edge..half a cm is fine.
Add mascara.
Blusher with a big blush..be subtle
then lipstick. I dnt use outliner..try a matt lipstick. its less messy, and is easy to apply.
I mainly use brown n black or grey n black with my eyeshadow. I have hooded eyelids so i am limited in what i can do. Do you have a visible eyelid? space to play with? if so..you can use a black eyline pencil..if not..dont bother with it..it will just get hidden under the hood.
Look up face shapes for hair styles..eye shapes for makeup tips..eye colour for non clashing eyeshadow colours.
Tidy up eyebrows from underneath. alway pluck under..to create space and open up eyes Mostly from the outer edge.
Have fun x

Heels is just practice, practice, practice.
I find stability depends on the width of the heel not necessarily the height of it.
Practice with a pair with substantial heel before moving onto the stilletto type heel |

That was a very interesting and useful read. Thanks girls.
I think my make up is getting better. Who knows! Maybe some of you know me and could let me know.
I’ll use some of the tips I read in here next time I go out.
Which is most often CJs parties. May well be going to June 29th Kink Night. It’s TV/TS friendly. I know at least 4 of us going!
I’ve tried quite a few places around the UK now.
Any Qs welcomed. It’s good to share. |

Not hairspray. Too many chemicals that will cause pores to become bigger , sugar water or setting spray . Hair spray is harsh on the skin. Alot use it to set make up but it's really bad for your face . |

When doing make up . If your going for dark smokey eyes best to do eyes first then add concealer , so that you don't end up with shadow smudges .
Don't use eyeliners on waterline always on top and bottom lash line as chemicals can cause eyes problems and you'll also find as night goes on you end up with eye gunk in corner of eyes. Not only that it makes eyes look smaller . Bigger eyes are better.shadow dark from outer to inner eye lightening shades will cause eyes to look fresh and big.
Contour kits are great if you want to shape you face or nose fatter or thinner. YouTube tutorials are good to get an idea and practice always makes perfect. |

On Amazon you can get exfoliating hair removal pads you use in circular motions it's like little sand paper pads but obviously not harsh at all (only way I can describe it lol) I use them for my lady bits, under arms legs and you are smooth for weeks at a time , the more you use the longer you are hair free , honestly couldn't go back to a razor or anything else plus I never get rashes .no harsh prickly ingrowth and lega and body parts are smooth as a baby's bum I also use on lip line . I've used it in husband before when he's had stubble and smooth , he said his beard growth wasn't as corse. Check it out Amazon £4.93 for 13 pads or £9 for 30 pads. Exfoliating hair removal pads is what they are calledx |

"Yeah i'll be checking those pads out "
Babyliss simply smooth is a hair removing and exfoliating gadget it’s time consuming for first time getting it all done but probably easier with frequent use .
Joanne probs best with an orbital sander with a fine grade emery paper for same results .

For razor shaving I use DollarShabeClub 6 blade
Clear face of makeup
Use a clean flannel soaked on hot water and hold against skin for as long as you can hear- helps open the pores.
Keep skin a taught as you can and shave -multi-directional
Pat dry
Check smoothness - if needex repeat hot flannel and shave again
To combat spots- I find a good tea tree oil aftershave balm is best |

Makeup is something you generally get better at the more you try.
Look at young girls as an example, they almost always get it wrong at first.
The main tip I was given years ago was to have a good base as a starter. So your foundation basically acts as the blank canvas.
Once I'm back at my PC, I'll hunt out the tips I was given and try to send them onto you.
