Maybe not what the diehard fans want to hear but it makes sound business sense to go the pre pack road as Whyte has pref ranking as a creditor anyway.

Its a no brainer.

Yep, go bust this season, take the points hit, and a fresh/clean start next season.

If the tax case goes against rangers I doubt a next season will be on the cards for them

Im English, live in Scotland and dont follow any particular team….

But, think its a sad day when ANY team of any country, of any following has to call it a day.

Its a sad day for the country, for sportsmanship and for competition.

Whats happening to RFC now could easily happen to others in the future the way that money is thrown about like its confetti. So my advice to anyone mocking the downfall of RFC is to keep quiet, it may one day happen to your team

might be a case of a rich man coming claiming to be the saviour. while behind closed doors plots to make the company insolvant get everyhting he can from the club and walk away scot free. not a million miles away from gecko in wall street.

It nearly did and I remember the cracked crests on the back pages of the papers and funeral cars getting sent passed Celtic park.

I'll lap this up for all I can

Whyte had to lose the debt and try and sort the mess the club was left in by the previous board.

Rangers WHO????

Blimey a bloke living in Glasgow doesnt know that Rangers are a football team? Maybe thats why there skint, no local support. Seriously though, not good no matter who you support as you need the home revenue Rangers and Celtic bring. Unless everyone starts to support Partick Thistle?

Well to me the saddest thing is that they over the years have lived beyond their means while other clubs have played and paid by the rules. Pay your taxes like the rest of us and then you may get peoples support.Try to con the tax man theres only one winner and its not Mr Whyte or Minty.Good enough for them.
