Aldi and lidl are ok for some things but rubbish for other things. Im a complete tool freak. Have 2 very well stocked large sheds with workbenches. Would never borrow a tool for a job, car or house diy, always just went and bought what was needed. |

"A hammer is a hammer
Pin, claw, lump, sledge, ball-peen, gavel.
To name but a few! "
I obviously chose the wrong 1 to lift wooden flooring, as I ended up loosing half my front tooth in the process

Dewalt, snapon, Halfords, Stanley, specialist you name it I’ve used it, it’s not necessarily the tools themselves but knowing the material properties of the tools and the given applications that establish longevity of the tools |

Used to have all Dewalt and then discovered Milwaukee, never looked back. Tough, rugged and do the job perfectly |

"A do love a bit of snapon"
Used to be the best of the best but a lot of it is overpriced shit now because it's made by others then snap on stick their name on it and stick another zero on the price . |

"DeWalt and Makita, nothing else for me. Swedish and Japanese axes and woodworking tools...mmm
I got a few Swedish axes and actually use them. "
Good! I lived rurally in the Highlands for a decade, mostly off grid. I need to escape the city more. |
