I still buy my girls eggs for Easter even though they’re 30 and 22 and if I don’t get one of the wee chocolate animals from Thornton’s I have a petted lip lol
When I was a wee girl in the East End we painted our boiled eggs at my grannies house and rolled them down the hill lol
What’s you childhood memories of Easter Eggs and do you still like to receive? |

I always remember getting an egg from my uncle and it sat on top of the fireplace for 2 days before I could get my hands on it. When easter eventually came i realised my dad had eaten half of it and kept the other half wrapped tight so it still looked like a full unopened egg in the box. Still ragging till this day |

I still buy my older two aged 23 & 21 and now my sons girlfriend.
An Easter memory I have is of an aunt who has pots of money and several properties but was so tight it was laughable. One Easter she gave me and my siblings a boiled egg that she painted herself and a 10p mix-up for our Easter!! The whole fun of Easter is to paint the eggs yourself!!! |

Or he tells you you’re the only one and the rest too. I used to call number one son my best big boy and number two son my best wee boy...took them till they were adults before they realised no one was favourite lol |

I still get an Easter egg from my wee mammy.
When I was little I remember painting our eggs and rolling them down the big hill in the Bellahouston Park, running down after them was the best part. |

"Easter breakfast for my youngest every year is half an Easter egg put his weetabix in and add the milk - he loves it as getting to eat chocolate for breakfast but still getting his cereal!! "
I did similar when my girls were small at Christmas, they could choose one thing from their selection box to have in their cereal as a chocolate breakfast lol they still love a chocolate breakfast at Xmas and they’re 22 and 30 x |
