Trying to walk normal and not walk like I've just shit myself 
Is this a Scottish thing as we aren't used to wearing them? Or is it just me? I'd be rubbish in heals

I used to think the same John, but it's just about practicing at home every night, wait till Karen is out of you're shy! I'm confident enough to go out in a pair now. 
But I pretty much agree with your point about flip-flops. I require heel grip in footwear.

Obv you know I wear them all the time and all year round, get funny looks at the supermarket I do agree that they take a bit of getting used to. Years ago I couldn’t wear them as I hated the feeling of them between my toes

Small island but managed to get a nice pair of sliders, makes a huge difference when my feet aren't twice the size they should be with heat exhaustion

Crocs have that ankle support strap……but they do feel stinky in the heat, i miss my timby sandals they had a good sole |

Love my flip flops although when not wore them for a bit gets sore between toes When wear them on first day of a holiday. Can’t beat the v look tan on the feet. My feet burn when we go away so always get a nice tan on my feet  . Only thing I don’t like about flip flops is you end up with manky feet from all dirt flipping up onto your feet.
