Final series started a bit ropey but I thought they pulled it back at the end.
Not going to lie the last part caught me off guard.
What where your thoughts on the last episode? |

Watched the 1st episode and thought it was terrible so never bothered with the rest. The last series was pretty poor as well I thought. When you go back and watch the earlier ones you realise how much its declined but suppose it's the same with a lot of programs . Plus hated methadone mick lol. |

Last couple of episodes were the best ones since it came back. Glad it ended on a bit of a high, relieved thats it definitely done now though.
First 3 series of Still Game was class and that's the way I like to remember it lol. |

Aye it hasn't been the same since they brought it back. What I liked about the last episode was if it didn't have the last 3 minutes, it was just like any other episode of the show. Some shows have a tendency to go overboard and hammer home it's the final episode.
Agree with Methadone Mick. He's my least favourite character after Peggy. |

I thought the final 3 series of Still Game were pretty good and haven't deserved some of the stick they got online. I'd agree they weren't quite as good as the first few series before they took a break but still thought most episodes were better than most other comedies. Having said that the sports relief / football episode in the last series was the worst episode out of all the series by a long way. I thought the ending was a bit of an anti-climax but it has killed off the possibility of it being brought back again in a few years' time. I think they probably felt they had done as much with the characters as they could. |

I really liked the final episode and this series as a whole - the first episode back was a bit shaky but the rest were pretty decent.
Loved the ending - teared-up as soon as J&V vanished and I realised that was it. Getting to see Meena's face was a lovely touch.

I was very cynical after the first one as it had been terrible last couple of series but they genuinely did improve as it went along.
The pathos in the final episode was just right and hopefully it really is the end. |

I think everything these days has gotten a bit sensitive to talk about or Rip into someone somewhere will take massive offence to anything however big or small that is said and I think Still game in the end become a bit of a Victim to that! |
