Hi all. Not new here but new in the sense of having not met anyone.
Just out of a crazy ass relationship, she well and truly screwed my head. Ive forgotten how to 'get out there' so to speak. Its really getting me down.
Anyone else have this problem? |

Sorry to hear you are feeling this way as i have been there and its no joy. I started running, sounds daft but it cleared my head and made my body stronger. Exercise and being supported by friends and family should help over time but always believe in yourself and never forget who you once where. |

You won't get any better advice than this. |

Your advice is good to be fair, what happens if you have no family nearby and friendships have dissolved!
Hoping a nice lady will come and put my mind at ease ! |

I totally agree about the running, running always makes me feel so much better if I'm having a bad day,it releases natural endorphins which gives the body a positive feeling, you can find lots of groups such as jog Scotland which is also a good way for the original poster to meet new people |

You dont need a "nice lady". Spend time finding yourself again first. Talk to work
colleagues or join a group of some kind to make new friends. Diving into another relationship is no good until you are mentally strong again |

At the risk of sounding harsh, if you came here for a confidence boost I'd make a flask of tea and pull up a chair. |

Should never rely on anyone else to build your confidence it’s something you can only truly do for yourself tbh if you rely on others to make you feel good about yourself then you’re doing yourself a disservice |
