As wonderful as the internet is it's also scary, I've had an IT background since mid 90's and before then was purely pleasure from playing games and programming as a youth to my later years of software deployment and security with keen interest in smart home tech.
I personally think the fun days are over and soon we will be controlled a lot more, watched from more eyes and listened by more mics than ever 
Without buying physical music anymore it's too easy for an artist to be wiped from existence and forgotten about over time, if all our info comes from the internet it's easily manipulated and again controlled
That said I still enjoy free porn
