Do you have a time that you won’t pour a drink before? Curious, mine is 12.00midday lol I always feel that it’s acceptable to have a glass of wine as long as it’s after 12.00 Gold fm on and housework in full flow

Nope. Anytime is good for me. Just means I get to bed earlier if I start earlier.

What about the times when you fall asleep, wake up sober and it’s only 6pm so you can start again? Lol x

No drinking for me I'm afraid. I'm a classic example of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Gentleman and generally good guy when sober and absolute asshole when d*unk

That’s usually holiday mode. Welded to a chair in sun.

Now I always find this interesting. The change in people after they have a few, I'm quite quiet reserved type and when I did drink I was a very placid, happy d*unk. I have only net one person who's personality seems to be the same d*unk or sober.

It's odd, well at least you know what your like and take control and respo..... I started boring myself with this pish.

I don’t enjoy drinking anymore tbh and never drank at home or alone, if I was on holiday if have a few drinks during day but generally saved my drinking for nights out, I was always last man standing and the one dragging everyone to the bar for shots but my health nowadays isn’t worth drinking tbh, I was away at weekend with my bf and managed one glass of Prosecco in hot tub never finished the bottle and still have a full bottle lying and about five in the kitchen, last New Years baileys minus two drinks and until recently a shed full of cans for the bbq days. Handy when I forget a birthday and need a last minute gift lol between 8am used to be my after work drink there were a few places that opened up in the mornings for night shift staff can’t imagine that now

It is honest indeed. I rather not drink at all than hurt someone. Although I make some exemptions like a pint every now and then but not more than a pint.

Good for you. Wish others who turn nasty or aggresive would be as wise.

I don't think it's a shame to admit that there's something wrong. In my opinion it's much worse to deny

Over there

I am struggling to think of a daytime drink that isn't evening or a wedding meal!

I occasionally finish a walk or ride with a pint at local - but only when I am not driving.

Pour me somethin' tall an' strong,

Make it a "Hurricane" before I go insane.

It's only half-past twelve but I don't care.

It's five o'clock somewhere.

Lunchtime for me....though I need to pace myself and have soft drinks in between or I'd be no use to anyone.

I would never drink on my own at lunchtime doing my housework ... maybe on holiday but other than that much later in the day.

I don't drink that often and generally wouldn't have anything in to drink in the middle of the day if we fancy a drink then it requires a trip to the shops! Day drinking... Only for an occasion. These days a child free day would be an ocassion though

It’s just a chill out evening tonight before the week starts again.

She’ll have a couple of pink gins later
