Question - a friend of mine was seeing a guy and they had a couples profile. They have now split up and he has unhidden his singles profile and used pictures of her without her consent. What’s the best way to get fab to remove them? |

Jut keep reporting them if they’re public and if he has them for friends only and your still a friend |

I think its possibly a bit trickier, the pictures im guessing is on his camera and taken with her consent, as long as there not showing her face , the fact hes also in those pics and using them to promote his profile Fab may not do anything. Im also assuming they used the pics on the couple profile but now they have split shes not happy. If he took them then he is sole owner of them and can use them how he likes in my opinion. Do feel for the female but it brings it all back to basics, if you dont want your privacy all over the internet dont let people have your info. In this case photos of you. Taken with consent and thats the key here i feel. |

Report & it should hopefully get sorted. My first fab profile was a couple profile & when he separated he changed the password & email address, thus blocking my access to the profile. I messaged fab, explained the situation, informing them I had all original copies. The photos were removed & the profile was changed to a single male profile. All happened fairly quickly, & also for another female friend when it happened to her too. At the very least his account will be suspended until he proves otherwise.
Good luck.

Only one person has pics of me and I believe he keeps them private lol the other one who tried to be an arse felt the full weight of the law, been majorly stung before by pics hence why I never have any on display and a few private ones for tuesdays only |

"I was once in a couples avatar pic. I was not happy as had not given consent but only blamed myself for being foolish enough to let the pic get taken. We all learn by our mistakes on here.
We had a couple profile too, no pics of me though , never wanted to scare away the clientele "
Clientele implies payment better watch or the forum trolls will be reporting you |

The Citizens Advice and Safer Scotland guidelines are understandably a bit vague for Fab. From what I can see, it’s an offence to share photos after you’ve split up (if it would cause distress), but not an offence if the photos are in the public domain already (both as you’d expect).
The grey area is what’s public domain on Fab? No photos as you need to be a member to join, public photos are/private ones aren’t, or all of them because we’re happily sharing photos already? What about private photos you’d send to other couples? Guess the laws just aren’t current enough for deviants...

If it causes distress and she can be identified from pics which if anyone knows who his ex would be, imply she’s within her rights to bring it as a police matter
I’m pretty sure public domain doesn’t include adult sites as public implies all persons |

Ethically you should be safe on here, but I don’t know about legally, as our photos on here certainly aren’t intended to be private (would be tough to get a meet if they were!). I hope you’re right though.
