"Wade wants a boxer I'm realistic on the size of our house and garden and the fact we have small children so I'd rather have a wee lhaso apso or shizhu in a few years when the kids are older.
V x "
Boxers are great dogs with kids but they do take alot of walking x |

On my second and unfortunately, last rottweiler...I adore them... they've both been wee loves.
Also on my first lhasa apso... he hates the entire world... he's my kinda guy May have to go for another next time round
Although I'd take any dog really... |

JRT ALL THE WAY
Although I'm quite taken by a larger dog and her fur brother at the moment but I still miss my wee guy. JRT'S have big personality for small dogs and they're so loving and loyal |

I love Old English Sheepdpgs (dulux dogs). If had 3 over 30 years and lost my old boy Bear 3 years ago to old age. Would have another in a heartbeat but have inherited my son's 2 staffies as he works offshore and they r plenty just now x |

I never used to have a specific favourite breed until we had our Dalmatian.
Lots of misinformation out there about them. High maintenance but God I love them! |

I had irish Red Setters lovely dogs great nature can be as daft as a brush But oh so lovely Just a comment about staffies What lovely dogs they are so loving and friendly its the stupid owners that get then a bad reputation Allways remember every dog can bite and its how the owner trains them that,s how they behave But i just love all dogs |

yorkshire terriers have bred and showed them for 30 years plus perfect dogs for anyone with allergys no hair its silk....and i always had four at any one time and they honestly are not as yappy as some folk think they are very affectionate but they do like long walks and can demand your attention 24/7 if you let them ,great with kids not so great wit other dogs till they spend time meeting them outside daily then they are best pals most hate cats ..my heros so do i .lol |

I got asked if my jrt was crossed with Rhodesian on the account of him being mostly ginger. Plus he has a rather prominent heckle. Think he thinks he is, he went after a dog de bordoe once. |

"Got to be a Tibetan mastiff. Absolute beast of a dog"
Omg they r gorgeous. Was amazed to see one at a local park bt 3 years ago. Guy moved over here for work and it cost him an absolute fortune to get him over.
My old English sheepdog was large for the breed and he looked like a miniature breed next to him x |

We'd never had one before. We'd had a fantastic Lab/Colly cross who was the best family dog we could imagine. She had to be put down and we couldn't bear the idea of replacing her. But you know how it is with dogs, it's difficult to go without for very long and this one became available. She is such a sweet, wonderful nature and just really lovely. |

i don't have a fav breed, but i do tend to go for larger breeds, not keen on ankle biters. I currently have a Malamute/Husky cross that i rescued, i was told she wasn't keen on guys as it was brought up and owned by a woman, but i think in a past life i must have been the dog whisperer, she has been glued to my side since i took her on, and keeps me company when the kids are not here. in the past i have had GSD's, and Rottweilers, all great dogs as long as you bring them up right and establish boundaries. No such thing as a bad dog, only bad owners. |

Nothing against dogs, great animals just don't want one of my own
My kids would love a dog but I know I would be left to take care of it mostly so definitely not getting one "
And if a dog is a man's best friend, what sort of best friend would ever ask you to pick that up
Imagine that, you are out with your mates and your pal, maybe even a pest pal drops trou, drops a "little present" and says pick that up and bag it for me will ya mate,...... Boak pmsl
Dogs need to learn how to use a toilet and flush lol |

Jury’s our on that one!!
Actually it means you don’t have a woman at home nagging you so don’t need a dog for a best friend to get you out fo the house frequently!! |

Love them all. Chihuahuas, poms and pekingese are adorable little critters. Staffies, boxers and dogue de bordeaux are among the friendliest breeds I've experienced. Gotta love a sweet mongrel too. |

Got a short legged, long nosed, long tailed terrier - otherwise known by some as a crocodile. But seriously, have always had Jack Russells. Loyal, feisty, playful, intelligent with boundless energy. Such personalities too. |

Rottweiler my very first dog was a pedigree and was an amazing boy. Pretty stupid but a big loyal and loving lump of fur. Lost him a couple of years ago My girl is a rottie/staffie and is Clydes shadow. She's full of love and affection for everyone she meets. |
