They're not good enough.
That's their level, limited as you say by no strength in depth. That's why they will never be able to compete at a World Cup with the number of games and injuries picked up.
It's also why we (Ireland) have always traditionally struggled at the World Cup but can turn most teams over on our day. Come works cuo time again it'll be the usual suspects with strength in depth that progesss in the later stages. |
