We can't look good and keep the house clean.

How would we fit in the sex too?

Yeah seems to be a real bugbear of yours. You've written about it on your profile too.

On the other side of that coin somebody could have an immaculate house but still have scrot rot so a perfect household doesn't guarentee perfect hygiene

well if your on a site looking to meet people.. and say you can accomodate.at least tidy up your accomodation ... a couple of times ive went to meet some one and made my excuses and left because of the filthy mess of the house..

a few with the smell alone!! ffs..

no need for it " in my opinion"

if u cant be bothered to clean your house then its a total put off for me... and yep,.. ive put it on my profile also...its obviously "my opinion" thats why i asked if anyone else feels the same ....

no, indeed i am not. or i would have named and shamed those..which i would never ever do.... dont make of it something its not meant to be or insinuating so either.... im not that type of person.... ive been on and off this site since the very beginning around 20 years or so ago.. and have seen it all... if you read my post..

as i said its in "my personal opinion" and asking if anyone feels the same...were all entitled to our opinion.. especially the poster who actually took the time to ask others how they feel about it.

Im saying it as i see it.

the question has no point i see no person saying oh i love meeting a clatty mare nor will i.

So its not really a question its more akin to a statement disguised as a question.

Its the motivation behind that statement im trying to get a hold of

the motivation "behind " the statement??

so the "motivation" behind the statement is that some people dont clean there houses and are happy to post pictures of them onto the internet of them all

"tarted" up and there houses are a shite tip... its not only people on the site.. and a lot of people dont have much money these days in the current financial climate..but thats nothing to do with cleanliness and tidying up your house before taking photos and putting them online to dating sites etc...

and some of my best pals and family have unruly messy houses.. we all have sometimes a bit of a mess in the house and dishes in our sinks.. but there not posting pictures of it on the internet looking to attract someone to there home for sex.

your welcome. each to there own opinions.. and the post was in my "personal thoughts"

if you read it back....

but it as not to "shame " others or to make "myself" look cleaner than others... but just an observation...

im not getting into your nit picking on personal thoughts or opinions, trying to drag something into the light that isnt actually what the post was about..

in my own "experience" men are "usually" more messy than women..and women are "usually" from what ive seen in my life...are more house proud than men are... the fact is there are some right messy fuckers men and women who put pictures of themselves with total mess in the background and looking to meet and accomodate people to there homes....

You have duplicated a recent similar forum ask on same subject, you look great for being so particular but not so cool by duplicating same subject really.

I browsed recent topics on scots forums before creating a new one,

I agree. Dirty fingernails are also a turn off.

With phones etc you can at least crop the mess out!

we dont tend to judge people by their homes

we concern ourselves more by the person when we meet them and their cleanliness then.

I dont feel the same, people are good sports in the first place for making the effort to create and allow us to see pics (how many, cant be arsed style pictureless profiles are on here fr example).

Could be many reasons why a house is not up to scratch,we dont prye and we dont ask why or judge, which is a general swinging attitude also.

How terribly judgmental!

I work between 40 and 70 hours in my main job and usually a further 10 or so in the second. My personal hygiene is not up for debate as I am barely home 10 minutes without showering and scrubbing myself.

My house however is a midden!!! It’s clean but beyond messy. I also have played in the sink for two or three days because I get home at 4am and cook but usually too knackered to clean them right away. That’s assumjng I’ve not ordered a takeaway to arrive soon after I get home

I don’t post pics of my home but have pics on my profile. All of which were taken in my home.

So how dare you judge another persons lifestyle.

I thought we were a less judgmental lot given how our lifestyles are judged by others.

*sigh*

"pmsl..my house and person are nice clean and tidy thanks :P i turn my pe to private when im not online"

I get that its quite fun to create a forum thread and get some agreement on the subject.Being voyueristic myself i like nothing more than clicking on what i think is the perfect sexy picture.

But thats all i do,i dont scrutinise pics to the point i decide on details of decor and how tidy it all is.

Hoarding for example is a recognised disorder,an obsessive compulsive thing.

Browsing other threads,i see most members show lovely patience and understanding of things like or similar to this.

If i were to be suffering from it,i would hate to think how troubling clicking on here and seeing a thread that just made me feel worse about it all would do.

I can be quite untidy at home but keep my workplace immaculate because it impinges on others.

Untidy is one thing but grotty is another and we as a couple would give a wide berth to anyone who's not whizzed a Hoover round in months
