Who else is with me that it's just a crazy overhyped day?

Completely commercialised.

The sentiment is still nice though

Commercialised hype. I prefer a bit of spontaneous romance

Although the Toblerone this morning was a nice surprise

I hate Valentine’s Day - maybe it’s because I’m single?

So much expectation attached to it to buy cards and overpriced flowers

Give me a foot rub and an orgasm rather ...flowers die hahaha

Commercialised hype but no one wants to feel left out or a Scrooge either ! Everyday your loved one should know you care, so the bf got a few wee goodies and a steak dinner tonight now he’s in bed sleeping for the night shift and I’m tucked up in bed about to put a cheesy movie on my tablet and chill xx

It's alot of crap. If you can't show your feelings to the person you love without a commercial date then it's a bit sad x

Get the card from the poundshop, you can tick off birthday, anniversary, get well soon etc. One card would last a whole year

Glasgow area

Big commercial pile of piss.

A day for couples to feel pressured into doing something special. And realistically they could do so many more special things without a valentine stigma attached to them

A day for singles to hate couples.

Crock of shit.

MrsS birthday is the 13th Feb, one year I gave her a card at midnight that said happy birthday/valentines. Other year gave her two cards but earrings for birthday and a necklace from the same set for valentines.

Might have been a wee bit tight back then

Doesn’t fly in our house, we always choose our cards for the art and sentiment, I save them and use book rings to create a record of all of them. If we don’t mean them or they won’t be appreciated, then we just don’t send cards. Why on earth would you spend that money on something that ultimately will just end up in the bin?

Got to love corporate love day!!

As posted previously...

To quote,"

Oh yes I must cut down a tree and speal my undying vomit with its new pages.

Not forgetting the feed up the people of the of the world on more cheap diabetical obese food groups.

And lastly, yes the pe'est a la' resitance.... pass over a bunch of cultivated, non bee loving dead heads..

Hmmm ....."

One thinks one does not proscribe to said day....
