Anyone that has spoken to me will know I have a thing for women wearing boots be it knee high, thigh high or ankle boots maybe even uggs lol.
I am also currently spending some time trying my hand at creative photography, tasteful black and white pictures with splashes of colour etc and then I had an idea.
I was wondering if I could combine the two of them together...so I was wondering if there was any female out there that would be willing to model/wear some boots for me and allow me to take their pictures?
This is totally for personal use and a hobby as I mentioned. If anyone is at all interested and would like to chat about it then please feel free to pm me. Thanks |

Hiya (Lee writing)
I use to do this too. ask for free models...never really got any response.
feed back was...
1. they thought i was using photography as a way to seduce or have sex.
2. they wanted a address and telephone number to leave with friends encase something happens.
I got more answers when I said, this is a no sex photo shooting/ not a sex invitation. and also that boyfriends or husbands could come alone and watch the shooting.
once you build up some models with trust...word of mouth will spread and then you will have more models...(oh also if hubby shows up with model....see if you can get them to pose together for some nice photos....i am sure they would appreciate it.)
Hugs

You'd really be best joining one of the main modelling sites as a photographer then putting out a casting. Makes it far easier for people to check you out as you gradually build up references.
There are some very good networking sites, and some very bad ones. Drop me a message if you want any pointers.
(Incidentally, I shoot a lot of model portfolios and commissions for designers, stylists, boutiques, etc, and have been published in print many times. I'm not a GWC :p)
ps. There's nothing tasteful about black and white pictures with splashes of colour!
good luck. |
