I’d recommend Bavaria Brauhaus on Bothwell Street.

Really authentic Bavarian Bierhalle with dozens of beers and delicious food like Jagerschnitzel, platters and great desserts. Lively atmosphere and even an oompah band some nights.

It’s smashing as a pub too. They do two pint steins of German beer and have over twenty on tap and over forty bottled.
