Unfortunately I never got to go to hanger 13 when I was younger, I would have loved it. Hang out in there sometimes now though..... Its a bloody soft play it's not quite the same as hanger 13 but probably the same noise level

Pre club drinks were usually D'Arcey's, or the Rock Garden, in the days that Gerald Butler drank there too, pre acting career of course.

I started To DJ at 16. I used to do a Friday night in Rainbow Rocks as I looked 18 lol

Then got involved with Clubscene records in Bathgate doing warm ups for live acts.

By 1997 it was slowly dying out and I had to grow up lol

Rainbow Rocks in Stirling? Isn't that the place that had the mannequins in the ceiling that would come down & rotate? Used to go on occasion late 80's.

From 1987-2014 I worked as a door steward in one or other of afore mentioned clubs.

Personally my own tastes in music made me avoid quite a few of the clubs outwith work.

The Cathouse... I played in there and had a couple of mates work the doors.

Saints and Sinners now King Tuts was a regular haunt

13th Note

Sleazy's

Went to gigs in the Garage

Central Scotland

For those dates... Primary school discos through to early secondary school

Lots of the same places though a few years on. Just less happy hardcore.
