So, heard on the radio about a woman who has synaesthesia (neurological condition whereby the stimulation of one sense causes an involuntary reaction in another) and claims to be able to taste words, specifically people's names. For example, "Wendy" tastes like a tea biscuit dipped in vinegar.
What would the above forumite taste like? Suppose pedigree chum is the obvious one for me |

"Maybe a rare steak
Waiting in certain people for aniseed balls/liquorice/marmite type responses
V x
Honey and rice
W sits there not saying or doing much just like rice and she is sweet. "
Lamb bhuna...spicy enough but not to everyone's taste. |

I have synaesthesia, I see (some) people as colours or numbers. I also see lines between numbers, can't remember what that's called, probably just a bit mental. |

Had it for as long as I remember. My friend in primary school was red, my cousin was black. It seems to have faded as I've gotten older, but sometimes it's really strong! I've never lied to anyone, might start though

Cider is fruit...
Chips, from brown paper, piping hot and served with salt and vinegar. The bliss of holding them in your hands when they are chilled to the bone, that blast of hot acetic acid as you peel back the packet that clears your sinuses and makes you sigh in anticipatory bliss, then the first touch to your lips, the pull back and blow before finally engulfing the warmth with your eager mouth..... |

It's actually the perfect description of a bag of chips and I could virtually smell the vinegar reading that |

"Flapjack! Easy
Fresh sushi
Are you saying I taste fishy !
Red velvet cake for you!"
Fresh fish doesn’t smell of anything but saltwater. So basically you taste slightly salty and would be delicious with a touch of wasabi. |
