My ex wife was infertile and eventually had to go through IVF, 3 attempts on the NHS. Last attempt resulted in the stillbirth of our son at full term, she's a recluse and hadn't seen a Dr in 12 years. From 37 to 49 , probably the most dangerous time for a woman to develop any number of life threatening problems. I have always felt a duty of care towards her but short of dragging her to a Dr there's absolutely nothing I can do. She has to agree to go which she won't and the authorities can't do anything without my Dr and a second Dr signing her into the care of the local authorities. 5ft and 5 stone, the flu could kill her but it's miraculous she's avoided something like cervical cancer |
