got this sent to me by a wink on fab .....Facebook is now a publicly traded entity. Unless you state otherwise, anyone can infringe on your right to privacy once you post to this site. It is recommended that you and other members post a similar notice as this, or you may copy and paste this version. If you do not post such a statement once, then you are indirectly allowing public use of items such as your photos and the information contained in your status update

Only thing id take from that is to use it as an excuse to check your privacy settings here and on Facebook

I know on Facebook for me everything is hidden including my mobile number and email

Just because a company is publicly traded it makes no difference to how the must handle your data and provide you options for privacy esp now with the new gdpr regulations

It's just one of those things someone made up which has no legal bearing and is totally pointless.

It's just a filter to highlight the sheep who copy without thinking on here.
