How Much Does Fabswingers Control You or Take Up Your Time ?

So what do you think singles and couples, your views and if you have been on fab even for a year or couple of years, do you see yourself on more or less or the same as when you first started on fab

Depends...sometimes I find myself reading threads or looking at pics and think "Fuck sake, that's 10 mins of my life I won't get back"...other times it can be quite addictive and funny.

Always easy enough to logout and go back to real life without a second thought though.

It doesnt control me at all.

I do have lots of free time while 'working' , so it kills a lot of time and as doggy says it can be hilarious at times.

I hardly ever have my tv on so find Fab good for both relaxation and entertainment. It also stops me feeling lonely when alone but it certainly does not control my life.

Pmsl, Love it when these types of people drag themselves out.

I'm flattered that you actually pay attention when I post and cant help yourself but to ONLY make a dig, lollllllll.

Funny enough, this is prob the only time I'm ever gonna reply to you but you cant say the same about me.

Any post/thread I post to on here isn't about me, contrary to what people think, (only the ones who haven't met me think this) but when people like you make comments like that, then your the ones who like giving me exposure for some reason, I can handle that

Shame you didn't put your view in regards to the question, its actually good to think for yourself and say, "yeah I'm on more that I should", or "naw I'm on it less than when I started" etc...

I suppose you can put the forums as one section, I used to be more in the chat rooms, so that was the main placed I chilled and why I can onto fab. Now for me, its less and less time spent on here

You are = you’re. Not ‘your’.

As (mainly) an observer of the forums, I do think some people ask questions where they’re maybe seeking answers about themselves.

It’s like anything in life. Moderation is a good thing.

It’s always interesting how some people seem to think it’s about them, go off on a huge, intelligible rant, not realising the point being made wasn’t specifically about them.*

Would you rather have no replies to your posts? I’ve only replied to, oh, maybe 4 of your amazing threads. Clearly I’ve made an impression!

You seem awfully.......defensive for someone just ‘chilling out’.

You need a comma after your first 'you're', not a full stop.

When being pedantic it's usually better to be correct.

Actually no. It’s correct either way. I could continue the sentence with a comma, or end it like I did and start a new one.

When being smart it’s better to be sure of your facts.

He is right, “your” is a single word, a possessive pronoun .

Fab doesn’t control me. I will however say sometimes I use fab as a stress reliever by having a joke with people on the forums. Sometimes if there’s a particularly good thread I can lose an hour or two scrolling. Other times real life dictates I have no time for fab or more likely I’ve took a scunner to it. Normally when I see the same people jumped on for posting anything, then the fab pals join in and it’s tantamount to bullying, I have to refrain from commenting my true opinions. That’s when I take a step back for a few hours/days whatever instead of ripping some people a new arsehole.

People will no doubt comment saying I shouldn’t take it so seriously but that’s just me always been the champion for the under dog and always will be.

It’s not fab, fab is just like another app to browse amongst various others for a lot of people.

The bigger picture is, people are gradually gradually becoming like apps themselves, I have watched first hand a friend more and more absolutely become utterly addicted to their phone which is pretty much a hand held pc.

Examples of this, the chat quickly going quiet, the head in the phone and nothing but daft wee deafening silence for company.

Once was just the other side of the street, I stood and watched them, head in phone while they walked and walked closer to me, diddly, no recognition or realisation of where they were.

I click on fab habitually but not with the same drive and determination to create a meet, just to simply see people I know and of course it’s fun to look up folks I don’t know however brief that may be.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

My iPhone tells me how much time I spend online.

Yesterday it was under 30 minutes. Today, with an unscheduled day off due to snow 5 hours!!!

It’ll probably go back down to zero when my Site Support ends as I tend to go AWOL for extended periods.

I spend between 10 to 30 mins on fab every couple of days, sometimes even 3 or 4 days. Quick pop into chat room and then on here. That's usually all that I'm upto on fab.

Sometimes too much, other times not too much. Forums are probably the most distracting as I can ignore messages & reply to them eventually.

Same when u try find a fuck n still cant cos men have forgotten the art of being a gentleman and messages like let me lick your fart box become rather unappealing!

I prefer the real world of swingers and not sitting on a screen men feel they have too much power that way

So my time on fab hardly on it these days n not met a fabber for sex in a verrryy long time

Change my mind will you?

If I'm bored during the day or waiting around for something I come on and have a look around to kill sometime.

Only time Im really sure to be on fab is nights after kids are in there beds, Mostly to look at updates and a browse through the fourms.

I'm not overly a massive fab fan, Theres nothing wrong with it I just prefer to speak to fab friends on kik and any potential new meets are usually people we bumped into one night or fab friends of fab friends.

Some days I scroll the forums and have to get involved but I don’t use fab as much at the minute I’m however chatting off fab to a lot of fabbers and socialising with them, and I’m no where near using it like I did years ago when I was single
