So like many I've been trying to be "good" this January, drinking less if anything, eating better, more exercise n stuff
So far im nailing the exercise bit, let's just say me after a _pin class is not a pretty sight
Drinking well yeah I've drank alot less compared to the festive season
But diet this is where it gets confusing, I'm trying to have a balanced diet but also nutritionally balanced too
I thought I was doing good and cooking healthy and tasty meals till a few people have said to me that I'm not eating enough protein for the amount of exercising I'm doing
Now I dont want to be one of those who weighs n measures n counts everything they eat or start using protein supplements or shakes so what is a good way to get more protein in diet (keep it clean pervs before anyone says the obvious fab comment) |

Beef will get you protein and iron.
If you want to up the protein, you can also add egg white to your recipe/dish.
Egg white is high in protein and you have almost no calories as they are mainly in the yolk.

See that's what gets me about all the articles and advice out there and why it's confusing
Everyone gives different amounts of what I should be eating
200g recommended on here
Trainer in gym said 120 to 150
Article online in popular magazine said 1g per every kg I weigh
And I'm easily confused too lol |

"Fish, chicken, eggs, oats, and dont forget the nuts. All highr in protein."
This
In addition Greek yogurt (not Greek style) and skyr yoghurt. Overnight oats, oats either of the above and frozen fruit in the fridge overnight good to go in the morning in a rush.
Many trainers arent that well versed on diet and nutrition or understand it when you you put them on the spot! (Who would do that?
).
Your body can't absorb more than about 20 g of protein at a time, anything else is wasted by the body and supplement wise is a waste of time. |

You know you will lose weight quicker if you do less cardio and more weight training??? Along with eating enough protein! |

Im 2 days into an eating plan of eating 2150 cals per day and gym 6 days a week. Lifting heavy is how to lose weight, strengthen and tone all together.
Cadio is simple interval training on a bike or treadmil until you puke.
Diet and exercise together get results
Also good to take vitamin supplements if a drastic change to eating habits is done |
