When I see 1 new wink received about every 2 months it’s like Xmas again  "

Hey if it shows someone might be interested then I don’t mind a wink, especially if it grows into a wank.
Seriously though, if I get a wink from someone I might like to Meet I’ll send one back, but usually leave it to them to message if they initiated the wink. If it doesn’t go further I take it for what it is. A friendly wink, nothing more.
I wink to folk I consider Friends if only to let them know I thought about them that day & let them know they’re in my thoughts. Again, nothing more.
They are what they are - another quick way of letting someone know they crossed my mind, & another tool in the Fab arsenal for making (a little bit) of contact with another member on Fab. |

Hate when i get a wink then go look at the profile and theres nothing.. no pics or wording, how my supposed to know if im at least interested? I dont bother any more with winks |

It wasn’t that we don’t get enough winks. They’re like buses. You get none for ages then two come along at the same time.
We suspects with winks that some people use them to test limits too. We don’t meet smokers but find smokers rarely message us and instead will wink to perhaps see if we would be interested in making an exception. |

I hear that aswell, that it you send a wink it's presumed you are being lazy...I don't think am being lazy I just understand that we all live busy lives and don't have time to answer every message we get so a wink shows an interest. |

Getting winks are great, it shows that someone is interested in you.
But there's nothing worse than getting a wink from people who have obviously not read your profile or winks from people with blank profiles. Nice to know you;re interested but how do you expect us to respond if we know nothing about you? |

Think if I was a bloke on here that's what I would do.rather than keep sending messages to be deleted.
I'm not tho so if I receive a wink if I like the look of the profile il wink back or message a thanks for the wink.i rarely send them on my singles profile but have been known to send some on my cpls profile with my hubby. |

Yeah couldn't agree more with you there but I think most females feel that winks don't merit a reply as the person too lazy to write them a message, fab is a crazy and wonderful place lol x |

I don't mind winks and if I get one I'll go have a look. If I'm not interested then no harm done, if I am, or want to know more I'll send a message.
But it really bugs me when you get a wink then go to look and get the profile hidden message

Winks confuse me  . I tend not to respond as it takes me all my time to reply to messages. If I have taken the time to send a message in response to a wink it's often never returned, so I don't bother now.
