If you want to venture towards Stirling then Dumyat is good. Ben a'an just outside callendar is a decent hike but not too tricky. Actual Perthshire, there's the knock in Crieff (no idea on actual name). Not sure on elsewhere there

I walked Aylth hill in November. Its not really my thing and did it to please a bloke (he dumped me anyway) however it was quite a nice walk and not too taxing |

Well done on your achievement though, was a bit of a wet day in the West here.
I've also got Glas Maol on my maps.
Walkhighlands is a good website for hill guides. There's also the womens walking group on the forums here |

my regiment has a memorial at the top of dumyat. it's a good hill for beginners, it has a gradual incline on one side, and a more steeper climb at the other end, depending on how energetic you feel. good views from the top also. |

I love hillwalking. Can never find the time to do more but every summer I do goat fell on Arran. Sea level to just below 3000 and its alpine rocky steep with spectacular views and drop offs. Its a must do, over on the 945 ferry up via castle back down via glen Rosa time for a fish supper and pint in the 720 ferry back. Classic ayrshire day out. |

For starting the sidlaws and carrot hill near Dundee are ideal, then Corrie fee is a great level up and great views from that before hitting Munro’s Mayar and Driesh at Glen Clova.
All relatively near by! Love hill walking, enjoy! |

When was 12 or 13 remember going up to the falloch falls and coming across a couple at it. Now, as a teenager banged out a few wanks for a good while after seeing that. Very attractive lady as I recall.... |

Do it once and you'll make it a regular.. Arran is properly a wee world in itself! An caisteal witches step are as challenging as anything further north if you want a near death experience in the hills! ?? |

As proven by the fact that whenever you are on top of another hill someone always asks, what is that triangular one in the distance? It's Schiehallion. |

Lots of people suggesting munros which is great but if you are going this time of year make sure you have the necessary skills and equipment or stick to lower hill.
Conditions can change pretty quickly especially in winter at higher levels. If you’re new I’d stick to lower hills to get you going until summer. |

Good advice. The weather and poor planning will bite very hard. The MRT's now rescue people mostly because they have nothing but some mobile phone app to navigate with.. Madness. |

where in Perthshire are you? there are some lovely walks around Dunkeld, try the Hermitage, or even the walks along the banks of the Tay, also an amazing walk behind the house of bruar, I ave a young puppy of which I take on gentle walks just now, not too strenuous as he is just a pup, lots of nice walks depending on the area and if you are prepaired to drive then you will have access to many.
