"Having been brought up and lived much of my life in Holmfirth, Yorkshire, (Last of the Summer Wine Land), I’m a country, (old), boy at heart, and having lived in Edinburgh for the past 7 years, Kirkcaldy the past 2, now my daughter is finally, (fingers crossed), leaving home so I don’t need to be close to a good public transport network, it’s my intention to take the plunge and move to a more rural location and I’d really appreciate it if any fellow FABers could let me know below of any nice rural property’s for rent they may spot or know of in the Central Scotland/Scottish Borders, with me being comfortable paying up to £1,200 a month, although less would be better of course.
What I’m seeking would ideally have at least 3 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms, office space, garaging, (or a small barn that will take 2 cars), the more rural the better, although a close by town with decent shops would be useful. Also, as I’m a website developer that works from home, I’d need a fast internet connection.
If it’s a great spot for holding parties, even better ?
If anybody knows of, or spots a property that may be suitable, I’d love to hear from you thanks.

Try looking at Galbraith. It's an agency that deals with rural properties only, there are some crackers on it usually! |
