I started exercising a bit more in the last few months so I'm going to keep that up.
Try and buy less shite (unlikely to stick to that)
Drink less wine (highly unlikely to stick to that) |

"So are you making any ? If so what are they ?
Also how good are you at sticking to the resoloutions you make ? "
To get out as Stephanie again be more fun .
I’ll give myself a 50-50 chance of success .
What about you Mrs ? |

I definitely need to loose some weight, especially around the mid-section. Bought a dress a size smaller for a summer wedding and I'm using that as my goal. Hate the gym, so cutting out the junk food will be my challenge. |

Started early on the resolutions.. we now have a phrase,"just do it!" In our lives. I.e. stop being lazy and get of your ass and do it, finish it etc etc.
Working hard on that..
But second resolution is to sort out financial stuff.

I lost 2 stone in weight during 2017 but with everything that has happened in 2018 it’s went back on
I now look more like a rugby player than an ex boxer |

That's all well and good, but making the lifestyle change of introducing some exercise into your life will not only achieve what you want but mean it's sustainable and benefit your overall health and general well being for years to come. I say invest in yourself rather than slimming/ diet fads.

True....but nobody ever out ran their gub. Think it's diet first, then exercise, as much for the physical as mental benefits. |

Nope, doesn't have to be at all, I would even say it's the opposite. She mightn't need to actually change her diet much at all, its simple maths.
For weight loss Calorific intake must not exceed calories burned.
If exercise is increased calories burned increase and depending on the exercise metabolic rate may be up for many hours afterwards. In addition to this there's an increase in muscle mass. So fat can be lost even if her diet isn't modified at all.
Diet without exercise reduces functional muscle mass before any fat is targeted. So you are merely wasting muscle. And as the heart is a muscle, excessive dieting and muscle loss is not good for the heart.
Exercise first, sensible eating, a wedding in summer is an ideal goal. And my tip would be throw out the scales, this is where diet fads fail, they are measuring muscle loss. No one needs scales to know that their cloths fit better and actually does it really matter what the scales say if someone is happy in their cloths?
