Not deleting messages

Not sure if this is just me, but if I receive a message and have no intention of replying, I will just delete the message. Get a nice clean inbox. But it appears that most people will just read the message then leave it hanging.

Is this so people can reply later. Or is this normal?

Rarely get a message on here so keeping a clean inbox is fairly easy.

I delete text on phone pretty much as soon as I read them though.

OK, so it's not just me being overly OCD

I tend to delete after I have replied... Unless it's a particularly good message. But I don't think leaving it in their box means anything in particular.

We don't bother deleting ours. They eventually get auto-deleted anyway.

Ah well, seems like it might just be an issue I have with leaving messages in a inbox without dealing with them.

As a couple, we both like to read messages. Sometimes that means things get binned quickly, sometimes it means they hang about until Steve decides to have a clear out. There are a lot where it's easy to make the decision to bin them (like most of this month's mail, where despite the first line of our profile saying we're not meeting this month, we still get messages asking for meets this month).
