"erm
he was clearly a paedophile!"
dont think he was clearly a peado mate, i think the guy had issues, and quite possibly a mental health problem that prevented him from growing up, thus being like a child in the body of an adult
either way, itl be argued to the hills, but his music we can all agree made a huge impact in the world. |

I have the entire Michael Jackson discology and have been a fan since I was about 12.
Very difficult to pick just one song,
Earth Song.
Heal the World
are two that come to mind |

I think that Like2 ( Orig post) View and Sexoholics are all right in this thread, Like stated that MJ as an "artist" ( his performing personna seperate from his personal life) was a great artist, no doubt.
His personal life was definately pretty fcked up though, (no wonder with Joe Jackson as a parent) .
He (MJ ) had a "fondness" for underage children, maybe just to recapture his missing childhood, maybe for other reasons or a combination of both,no matter why this was the case even tho he was found "Not guilty" in one of the court cases against him ( So did "OJ" money buys U great lawyers) and several possible cases were settled out of court for substantial amounts of money, despite the "not guilty" verdict, would any of us allow our kids ( nieces/nephews,relatives for those that dont have kids) to spend time with him unsupervised?? hmmm I think not.
The Lockerbie bomber WAS convicted "guilty" and has never been found "not guilty" in any court he was released under the correct Scottish law,(compassionate grounds) but we ALL know this was a political descision, (oil, not wanting a Martyr, trade negotiations etc.) NONE of which is right but they did follow the law.
On the legal point, was MJ murdered??
Hmmm probably not,( why kill the "golden goose" ) .
Did a mentally unstable person with MASSIVE pressure to perform those O2 gigs manage to talk a "weak" physician to administer lethal amounts of tranquillisers to allow him to sleep in preperation for the massive task ahead?? hmmm probably,
Sadly as with several walks of life, genius and insanity are not far removed from each other,
Do we need to care about his private life to appreciate his music?
Your choice. |

i think he was so naive he put himself in situations where he was likely to be taken advantage of by greedy people more than anything else.he was clearly not sexually motivated.although dirty diana was his best song. |

A never released number, "streetwalker" was intended to be a duet with jacko and Prince is real catchy, if they released it now, it be number 1 in no time, on the re done "Bad" album.
