typical single guy question

Right, if you are a single guy who does not have an internet connection other than via your mobile or work (where fab is blocked) and therefore can't get into the chatrooms and don't have cam.....how would you go about getting attention? Other than patience. If people think my pics or profile need changed, I'll do that. Oh, and whatever happened to the old fashioned meet for a coffee, instead of the "no cam no contact" style? I know we're all busy people but still... |

That's what I'm doing as even though I have internet connection and a new laptop with a webcam,the chat rooms are just too fast for me and my two finger typing at the moment lol! |

Thanks people. I wasn't sure how to get invited to socials, but this post in the forum got me a gangbang invite. Comments taken on board though, thanks.

Get to know a few people that way then maybe think about setting one up yourself...x |

Yeah I realise a coffee meet isn't for everyone. Some want to just arrange here and do it, some want socials first, some want cam. Each to their own. I don't really mind myself how I get to the point of meeting, as long as everyone is comfortable.
I will keep an eye on the forums for any socials that are coming up, might give me an idea what to arrange. Also, I guess in real terms, who's gonna agree to come to a social arranged by an un-userverified single guy? |

It's not really that important what other people think about your pics or profile. It's up to you how you present yourself and if anyone likes or dilikes, that's their choice and loss if they chose not to meet you.
You are not missing anything in the chat rooms. There isn't a Glasgow chat room, but a Scotland wide chat room. From my own experience, it's mostly full of people having text-speak conversations with people they know already.

Can browse forums.... Put ur name down abd get urself along to a social event... Either an evening event or a day time event.... Their r lunches... Drinks then nights out.... Plenty variety of places from Aberdeen to Ayrshire... Fife to Glasgow...

Oh and a social is a great way to get verification from those u meet and get to know... Great way to get into the scene... Hope this helps

OMG....I feel so old...
when I was young (back in the days when Star trek was really hi tech and Micheal Jackson was Black)
we use to meet girls at clubs, at work, in a coffee shop, by doing voluntary services for different needy groups, the library, flirting at shopping mall, athletic meetings.
I think that's some of the reason the Western culture is a bit lonely....every one is connecting online, every one is chatting... and nobody really talking to the people right on there own street. Wee shame. No one being polite to the old lady and then finding out she has a really sexy daughter. Flirting with the sales person and finding oot she is single and likes the same things as you.
the good old art of flirting, were you can read the body signals, face colors and watch the color of there eyes.

Haha, well in my experience I've had 2 dates from online chatting (on POF) and a few meets from fab (and gumtree adult personals before that) but that's not to say I've lost the ability to chat up girls at parties and stuff. Don't worry, you're not old just cos you remember meeting people the natural way.
