Real or fake?
About to buy a new one the now and can't decide
Real tree is less storage issues but what a mess (saying that we've got a cleaner so not a great issue but still)
Fake tree more expensive and means you e got the same tree for the next few years plus it's that hassle of in n out the loft
Or do I just wait for the January sales and buy one for next year
Bah humbug!

So from an earlier post. You want to put clingfilm on your toilet. Is that not a bit childish? |

That's what I do

"I’ve never had a fake tree, I always get a real one! Love the smell of a real tree "
I don't think I've ever had a fake tree... Of course it may just have been very good at acting. |

Dont like the mess so its fake for us. Not to much hassle bringing from loft, just 1 more thing among the other hundreds of decorations that come down every year. 3 sprogs and 3 grandsprogs we go ott on christmas and halloween house decor. |

IKEA has locally sourced real trees for £25 and getting a £20 IKEA voucher for January.
If we didn't have a very small child who would pick any stray bits of tree off the floor and try to eat it then I'd go real

Definitely real. We’ve gone real for the past few years and, so long as you keep the water topped up, they don’t really lose many needles any more.
Christmas trees are a bit like boobs - real is best!! |

"Can't beat the smell of a real tree (before it gets pissed on anyway) "
This! Plus the extra fun of choosing the perfect one. We've been to Buchlyvie the last few years where they have you cut whichever one you want down yourself (see previous years Facebook photos). |

Fake so that there's no needles to hoover up. Some of the fake trees are just as nice as the real ones. In saying that I don't have a tree. I don't see the point when I live by myself x |

"We went with fake with snow lol

My mum has a tree like that. I find it hypnotising especially with the lights on it. You're making me think I should buy one now x |
