Their Own World

I've never got on with hold ups for that exact reason. Only wear stockings as I need the garter belt to keep them in place.

Have always suspected that hold ups are not really meant to be worn all day as an actual piece of every day lingerie; if there is a magic method I don't know about, I'd love to know the answer as well!

John Lewis sell good hold ups and i also like M&S Autograph hold ups. A little more expensive but good quality.

Hate stockings love a suspender belt though hold ups fall down or roll down as there’s a fair bit of padding on the old legs so have to add a belt with hold ups usually adding some extra stickiness with tit tape can work unless your out dancing and sweating

I always buy M&S ones. Whatever you do make sure you get the ones with a broad band at the top. The narrow bands (cheap 2 pack ones) really dig in and don't look as flattering on.

Apply a dab of body moisturising cream to inside rim at top of holdups or wee quick spray of hairspray.. They stay up longer

Don't moisturise the thought but make sure it's. Hair free etc.also you can get a clear tape to put on. Or use bondage tape, it adheres well to that.

3-band ones are meant to be best for staying up, and like Fipeter said, the Primark ones are given good word-of-mouth.

1. Get the right size.

2. Don't believe one size fits all.

3. 3 band tops are way better than 2.

4. Moisten the silicon band with a little water from a paper tissue.

I’ve found that spraying a little hairspray on my leg where the band sits on the top of the leg can stop them from budging better than superglue
