Well. It sounded like one hell of a prayer meeting... I'm sure God heard your prayers. |

The bt ads where they offer a free amazon echo are the worst mines goes crazy as it’s next to the tv, or in the middle of a chat she pipes up ‘hmm I don’t know that one’
There’s been times where the blue ring appears without any prompting |

"they are constantly listening! I've got the google speaker and sometimes it randomly starts talking. At least I can mute the mic on it."
“They” are constantly listening/watching anyway so I wouldn’t worry about it. If you are going to worry, ditch your phones both home and mobile, get rid of all computer equipment, any digital feed to and from your house, move to a cabin in the middle of nowhere and only buy food with money from under your mattress. The only way to avoid all this is to go “dark”. Or don’t worry about it, live life and try not to flag up on any systems. |

Exactly this... Don't scream out "CATCHER IN THE RYE" While nearing climax and you should be OK. |

Details are out there, no system is safe, we choose to use them, if you want to be totally anonymous then join a cult or something. We've got a whole house of smart gadgets/devices, every room is covered in one way or another to the point I've renamed some so they don't activate during mid convo and are used for speakers/video only. We've had websites troll for our data for years before Facebook etc so it's a bit late now?
Data mining anyone?
If you go onto the Alexa app on your phone you'll see a list of questions/responses you've recently asked or prompted her for.
I'm actually planning on installing smart tech in one of my campervans, like fully automated home from home with Alexa etc, it's already got its own WiFi hub built in

It does listen all the time and every skill you approve gives more people permission to listen in. Normally it listens out for trigger words and general ambient noise like phones but any app can change that. So don’t get surprised by any info getting out |

It records partial bits, snippets while scanning for the "Alexa" prompt. Recently google were required to give over all recordings to a court case of a home invasion/murder. But google didnt release it until a court order was issued. |
