Couple post a meet for glasgow hotel I reply and say what time il be free (after 9pm) couple will be at hotel around 8pm which I thought was strange 9pm they are still 20 miles away yeah no problem got to laugh at time wasters |

Its now 9.30pm they are still in kilmarnock despite saying they would be in glasgow at 8pm all was arranged and they havent moved look on meets im sure you will see them 20 miles away yeah mega pushy lol |

Its showing house wifi laptop 15/20 miles
Its also showing mobile device 15/20 miles
Every time they log in with phone it comes up distance 15/20 miles away
Take a look at the meet make your own mind up .....they are 20 miles away they are not in glasgow hahahahaha |

The whole point of this post of course was to expose a fakey mcfakerton profile and the second purpose was I was curious to see who would try and defend the undefendable fake profile. Its interesting that nobody said 100% that im wrong but instead chose to try and side track the facts with pointless distractions. Anyway sad to say yet another fake profile on here that is allowed to go on enjoy the rest of your week. |

If they don't have "who's near" switched on, they might be in Glasgow, but it'll still show distance as Kilmarnock.
Wouldn't rely on that feature too much, will lead to some misunderstandings sooner or later x |

Reading through this, that's what I'm wondering too...
Did they agree to meet you specifically? Or did they post a meet and you assumed they would be there or messaged but didn't get a confirmation? Maybe they fully intended to be there but didn't have any responses and decided to give it a miss.
Guess you'll never know...

Anyway OP, dont worry about distance. There could be a whole host of reasons to account for that.
They may well be timewasters, but if they have are well verified and you have chatted for a while then you may be burning your bridges for a meet by coming on here and publicly calling them so. |

Yip, oodles of possible reasons for, in this.
Location thing can be off, not updated for various tech reasons.
Something crops up that hinders them being able to reply, that can be as simple as suddenly no privacy to call or message.
Once had a guy coming to a group thing I was holding, woman’s car broke down, ohh he wanted to know where her car had broken down and he was going to pick her up etc, lol.
How dyou even introduce yerself in that situation? “Hi I’m not the AA but I still hope we can shag, leave the car there for now”  |

If you arrange a meet and they don't show up and they haven't even let you know then just learn from it.
It means they are not too bothered about you as they haven't showed or been in touch. I do not see the point of worrying about them.
They may contact you later with a valid excuse so it sup to you to decide to try again. Only you know what's best for you. You should learn from it, chat on phone, video call etc..
Move on there's plenty of people who are on fab who might be perfect for your company   |

If they arranged to meet you and changed their mind then it happens, we are all allowed to change our mind for many reasons, some can't be helped but not messaging you to let you know is not good
